Jeremy Hight was in the recent issue of Leonardo Music "Joy of the Gizmo"
describing his learning circuit bending and sound art as a teen from utilizing the wondrous defects of a Casio sk-1. His sound art has been in festivals and museums internationally. He is an electronic musician in a range of styles and hybrids. He also is a theorist and has published over a dozen essays in different fields related to his artwork,writing and research. He created locative narrative in the first locative narrative project "34 north 118 west". His writing and image making is currently
shortlisted by the European Space Agency to be in a project he is developing that will circle the earth on the international space station as a live interaction between cities and their inhabitants and the astronauts in flight (a sort of vjing in the air and along the earth) with narratives, video , images and sound triggering as cities are flown over and with another stream coming back to earth in a sort of live collaboration.
